Head of Marketing

Oasis is a private L1 blockchain with a highly scalable cross-chain architecture focused on providing data sovereignty and on-chain privacy to the Web3 ecosystem. The Oasis Protocol Foundation supports projects dedicated to developing privacy-preserving applications on the Oasis Network.

Job Purpose

The Head of Marketing collaborates with the team to formulate, drive, and execute a marketing growth strategy aligned with the Network's vision and mission, while engaging the Oasis community to enhance awareness of our technology, products, and brand.

Main Responsibilities

• Reassess, develop, and implement a marketing growth strategy in coordination with the marketing and community teams, focusing on PR, social media, developer acquisition, content, analytics, paid advertising, and events aligned with Business Development (BD) and Engineering.

• Lead and support the Marketing teams, fostering creativity, collaboration, and cohesion across departments to ensure Marketing strategy aligns with business outcomes.

• Establish quarterly goals for marketing and community growth and engagement.

• Conduct regular performance reviews, offer constructive feedback, and actively seek input from team members.

• Launch targeted cross-marketing campaigns and initiatives to reach developers, token holders, and partners, developing the necessary resources and teams to execute these initiatives effectively.

• Enhance brand awareness and community engagement through event planning, partnerships, social media campaigns, and other user acquisition programs.

• Explore innovative approaches and best practices to engage with the community, drive brand recognition, and adapt to evolving marketing trends.

• Develop financial projections and budgets for the marketing department.

Tasks

• Enhance brand awareness and implement acquisition campaigns to attract developers.

• Plan events, thought leadership activities, and partner co-marketing efforts, including influencer collaborations.

• Coordinate new product and feature launches, key partnership announcements, and ecosystem-building activities with Engineering, BD, and the community.

• Organize promotional activities for partnerships through blogs, press, and social channels.

• Lead hackathons and promotional events to attract developers and showcase network milestones.

• Collaborate with international teams to expand Oasis into European and Asian markets.

• Establish and achieve quarterly objectives for marketing teams, addressing blockers proactively and proposing solutions as needed.

• Initiate programs, events, campaigns, and community initiatives to cultivate relationships among builders and retail users.

• Manage the ambassador program, conduct training sessions, and ensure regional growth strategies are implemented effectively.

Community Team

1. Engage with the Oasis Protocol community, maintaining positive relationships with developers, users, and stakeholders.

2. Create and manage community channels for interaction and updates.

3. Provide technical support to community members using the platform.

Marketing Team

1. Promote the Oasis Protocol platform through diverse marketing strategies.

2. Engage in content creation including blog posts, whitepapers, videos, and social media content.

3. Foster partnerships with other entities in the blockchain space to expand the platform's reach.

4. Facilitate participation in events to boost brand visibility and enhance community engagement.

This is a full-time position payable in USDT OR USDC cryptocurrency with flexibility for remote work and preference for candidates aligned with the CEST time zone.
