Human Resources (HR) Generalist
Job Overview
As part of a leading data center developer, you will be responsible for managing various HR operations to support the company's expanding workforce. This role involves ensuring compliance with employment laws across different states, overseeing HR initiatives, and providing support for recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and engagement efforts. Your key focus will be on maintaining accurate HR records and reports while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture for employees and managers alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to terminations, and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and supervisors regarding policies, benefits, and general HR matters.
- Managing HRIS data entry and reporting to maintain up-to-date employee information, benefits enrollment, and performance records.
- Collaborating with hiring managers on full-cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer preparations.
- Organizing and conducting onboarding activities to facilitate the seamless integration of new hires into the company.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws by assisting in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinating compliance-related training programs, such as harassment prevention, safety, and cybersecurity.
- Generating HR metrics and reports to provide data-driven insights for effective workforce planning.
- Supporting employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and activities that contribute to a positive company culture.
- Assisting in employee relations cases and performance management processes by preparing documentation and collaborating with HR leadership.
- Taking part in HR projects and process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and supporting company growth.
This position requires professionalism, effective communication, and strong teamwork skills in an inclusive environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of an HR certification (such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent).
- Experience in industries such as construction, engineering, technology, or energy/mining.
- Familiarity with HR systems like Paylocity or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in HR reporting, analytics, and process enhancement.
The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 per year. The role may involve duties that require driving a company vehicle or traveling between job sites, so candidates must meet CleanSpark's vehicle insurance policy requirements.
