Institutional Sales Manager
About the Role:
Define and cultivate relationships with institutional and high-net worth clients within the rapidly growing crypto and blockchain sector without any limitations on potential clientele. Take charge of identifying and pitching institutional leads with flexibility and pride in achieving success through onboarding clients to their first crypto instruments or creating customized crypto products tailored to individual client needs and market demands.
Craft and customize financial products for institutional clients in the evolving landscape merging traditional financial services with the crypto industry. Use your creativity and expertise to propose and develop innovative financial offerings such as credit and custody solutions with full support from the team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and reach out to institutional client leads.
- Understand client requirements and promote relevant products such as market maker/taker programs, OTC, custody, and staking.
- Participate in conferences to represent the company and engage with institutional players to raise awareness of business products and services.
- Engage in community reach activities and attend crypto gatherings and meetings to expand the institutional footprint.
- Research market and competitor trends in the crypto institutional space.
- Draft and finalize client or partnership agreements.
- Propose new crypto institutional offerings.
- Maintain ongoing communication with institutional clients, gather feedback, and suggest product enhancements.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track:
- New clients onboarded.
- Volume of client transactions.
- Revenue and profit generated.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Institutional Outbound Sales.
- At least 1 year of experience in digital assets, cryptocurrency, or web3 in outbound sales focusing on exchanges, custodians, or prime brokers.
- Familiarity with institutional products including market maker/taker programs, OTC, custody, and staking.
- Strong network or client base in the cryptocurrency space, involving hedge funds, trading firms, banks, asset managers, etc.
- Experienced candidates will be considered for Senior Institutional Sales positions.
- Proven track record in cultivating and monetizing client relationships, acquiring institutional clients, and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in written and oral presentations.
