Institutional Sales Manager - APAC
Institutional Sales Team Description:**
The Institutional Sales Team offers you the opportunity to take ownership and develop a clientele of high-net worth individuals and institutional clients. As part of this team, you will be involved in the entire process, from onboarding clients with their first crypto instrument to customizing unique crypto products for them. The team works closely with various stakeholders such as sales traders, account managers, and sales managers to support the growth of our expanding infrastructure.
Exciting Aspects of Your Role:
- Building and defining your clientele of high-net worth individuals and institutions in the rapidly growing crypto and blockchain industry.
- Being responsible for identifying and pitching institutional leads and experiencing success in various forms, such as onboarding a client to their first crypto instrument or customizing a unique crypto product for a client.
- Contributing to the tailoring of products for institutional clients to meet their specific needs and utilizing your creativity and expertise to explore new financial service offerings.
- Collaborating with the Crypto.com team to bring new products to market.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Identifying and reaching out to potential institutional clients.
- Understanding the needs of clients and presenting relevant Crypto.com products.
- Representing Crypto.com at conferences and engaging with institutional players to increase awareness of our institutional products and services.
- Expanding and strengthening our institutional footprint by participating in community events and meetings within the crypto space.
- Conducting research on market trends and competitors in the crypto institutional space.
- Drafting and closing client or partnership agreements.
- Proposing new institutional offerings.
- Maintaining ongoing contact with institutional clients, collecting feedback, and recommending product improvements.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in financial services sales, such as Sales Trading, OTC Sales, FX Sales, ETF's, Liquidity pools, CFD's, and Prime Brokerage services.
- Experience and network of clients in the cryptocurrency space is a plus.
- Candidates with more experience will be considered for a Senior Institutional Sales Position.
- Demonstrable track record of building and monetizing client relationships and drafting agreements.
- Excellent command of professional written and oral English.
- Proficiency in English.
