Institutional Sales Representative
At Anchorage Digital, we are developing an advanced digital asset platform for institutions to participate in the crypto industry. Our regulated crypto platform offers integrated financial services and infrastructure solutions to institutions. As the first federally chartered crypto bank in the US, we provide secure custody, regulatory compliance, a wide range of products, and exceptional client service. We are currently hiring a highly motivated and experienced Institutional Sales Representative to drive new business from institutional clients involved in the digital asset industry. As an Institutional Sales Representative, you will promote Anchorage Digital's comprehensive platform for securing digital assets, which includes regulated custody, staking, brokerage, settlement solutions, and self custody using our proprietary technology.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
Technical Skills
- Generate new business sales by promoting Anchorage Digital's products to various client types, particularly crypto native firms like protocols, venture capitalists, and other buy side firms.
- Develop and close a pipeline of opportunities across Anchorage Digital's business lines, including regulated custody, staking, brokerage, etc., while building strong long-term relationships with clients.
Complexity and Impact of Work
- Develop a targeted strategy for your focus area by leveraging internal resources such as marketing, business operations, and client experience.
- Lead campaigns or projects that drive new business and enhance Anchorage Digital's offerings.
Organizational Knowledge
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial attitude and intellectual curiosity, with the ability to think creatively and offer client-specific solutions.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Anchorage Digital by participating in industry events and building a network of clients and industry peers.
Communication and Influence
- Collaborate closely with Product to share client feedback
- Coordinate with various departments, including legal, product, client experience, and compliance, to successfully close deals and create the best client experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven institutional sales experience in digital assets, financial services, and/or SaaS, with a strong track record of closing deals and achieving targets.
- Direct industry experience and a network in the crypto field, with solid technical knowledge of digital assets.
- Strong team player with a collaborative approach.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate the unique value proposition of Anchorage Digital.
- A strong network of institutional clients and peers in the digital assets and/or fintech industry.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
