Marketing Director
Seedworld Studios is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Marketing Director with a proven track record in developing and implementing marketing strategies, particularly in the web3, gaming, or entertainment sectors. We are in search of an individual who can craft compelling narratives, foster collaboration within our teams, and effectively manage and expand our global player and partner community.
The ideal candidate should have demonstrated results in web3 and gaming, along with the ability to work closely with development teams and strategic partners. A solid grasp of product development, community engagement, and the web3 environment is essential for success in this role.
As our teams operate remotely, the Marketing Director must be adept at managing diverse groups of individuals to create impactful campaigns. In addition, the candidate should feel comfortable engaging with platform and investment partners for knowledge sharing and collaboration. Daily tasks will involve working with our teams to enhance our community and engage customers through targeted marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies for audience growth, retention, and monetization within the web3 and traditional gaming spheres.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging trends in web3, blockchain, and gaming.
- Collaborate with IP partners to align branding efforts across all publishing endeavors.
- Execute comprehensive multi-channel marketing campaigns to attract, retain, and grow our user base.
- Maintain consistent messaging and branding across various marketing channels and partnerships.
- Identify, negotiate, and nurture strategic partnerships with platform holders, investors, web3 projects, and brand associates.
- Supervise content creation across all marketing outlets.
- Lead and cultivate a remote, cross-functional marketing team.
- Oversee the branding department by recruiting, training, scheduling, and mentoring staff.
- Establish and enforce branding department standards for production quality and efficiency.
- Ensure team adherence to existing processes, while identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementing effective design operations tools.
- Develop presentation styles and techniques and conduct a creative audit for innovative input and a cohesive brand vision.
- Generate creative briefs from brainstorming sessions, outlining direction, timelines, and deliverables for the creative team.
- Analyze market trends, consumer needs, competitive landscape, and campaign performance metrics.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of marketing experience in web3, blockchain, or cryptocurrency.
- 3+ years in a marketing leadership or CMO position.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in video game marketing.
- Demonstrated success in developing web3 communities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in establishing and executing strategic partnerships.
- Knowledge of effective influencer marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and management skills.
- Deep passion for gaming and web3 technology, with a belief in its transformative potential for the gaming industry.
