Marketing Director
Seedworld Studios seeks an enthusiastic Marketing Director with a strong background in developing and implementing marketing strategies in the web3, gaming, or entertainment industry. We need a creative leader who can work closely with our internal teams to manage and grow our global community of players and partners. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in web3 and gaming, with a deep understanding of product development, community engagement, and the evolving Web3 landscape.
This position involves collaborating with the development team and strategic partners to enhance our community and manage impactful campaigns. As we operate with remote teams, the ability to effectively lead and work with diverse groups is essential. Additionally, the successful candidate will engage with platform and investment partners to stay informed and educated, contributing to daily efforts to expand our community through targeted campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Formulate strategies to build, engage, and monetize a diverse audience within web3 and traditional gaming realms.
- Stay updated on web3, blockchain, and gaming trends, identifying opportunities for growth.
- Partner with IP collaborators to align brand efforts and optimize publishing initiatives.
- Execute comprehensive multi-channel marketing campaigns to acquire and retain users effectively.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels and partnerships.
- Initiate and manage strategic partnerships with platform holders, investors, other web3 projects, and brand partners.
- Supervise content creation across all marketing platforms.
- Lead and grow a remote cross-functional marketing team.
- Manage the branding department, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and mentoring of staff.
- Implement standards for production, productivity, and quality within the brand department.
- Foster a culture of innovation by identifying process improvements and supporting design operations through the creation of new processes and tools.
- Develop innovative presentation styles and techniques, supporting the team in understanding the company's voice and brand.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in web3, blockchain, or cryptocurrency marketing.
- At least 3 years in a marketing leadership or CMO role.
- A background of 5 years in video game marketing.
- Demonstrated success in growing web3 communities.
- Proficiency in cultivating and executing impactful strategic partnerships.
- Knowledge of effective influencer marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and management skills.
- Passion for gaming and web3 technology, with a belief in its transformative potential for the gaming industry.
- Creative vision aligned with business objectives.
Location: 100% remote
Timezone: Flexible schedule, working hours between 9AM and 10PM (UTC time).
