We seek a dynamic marketer capable of wearing multiple hats to bolster our presence in the Asia-Pacific market. As the Marketing Manager for APAC, your responsibilities will encompass devising and executing strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and community expansion in the region. Your role extends beyond promoting the Nethermind brand to including our sub-brands such as Voyager, Nethermind Security, Nethermind Research, and the Internship Program. Besides excelling in content creation, networking plays a pivotal role in your duties as you forge connections with marketing professionals, community leaders, and potential collaborators across diverse marketing segments in the APAC region. Working alongside our global marketing team, you will closely collaborate with Marketing, Design, Events, and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach.

Responsibilities
- Plan and implement marketing campaigns tailored for the APAC region, harmonizing with global marketing goals and brand identity.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to grasp their marketing requirements and facilitate public communication creation and dissemination.
- Conduct market research to gain insights into local trends, audience preferences, and competitor activities in APAC. Utilize this knowledge to craft personalized marketing initiatives that resonate with target audiences.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key marketing figures, community leaders, and potential partners in various marketing domains in the APAC region.
- Support the events team by fostering connections with event organizers, universities, community leaders, and local vendors.
- Identify and track opportunities in APAC that align with Nethermind's hiring and business development objectives.
- Analyze and report on marketing initiative performance in APAC in collaboration with our Data Analyst, leveraging insights to refine strategies.
- Collaborate with the global marketing team to develop and localize content that engages APAC audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of marketing experience, with a focus of 2 years on the APAC region; candidates with lesser experience but exceptional potential will be considered.
- Profound understanding of the APAC market landscape, cultural nuances, and consumer behaviors.
- Proficiency in X, LinkedIn, and Discord usage, with experience in content creation on TikTok.
- Familiarity with social media management platforms like HubSpot or Hootsuite, and tools such as Notion, Figma, Webflow, Meetup, Luma, and Google Analytics.
- Fluency in English and at least one major APAC language (e.g., Mandarin, Korean, Japanese), including experience in copywriting and proofreading in both English and a major APAC language.
- Strong project management skills, adept at multitasking and meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, demonstrated through successful relationship-building with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, talent, and business development teams.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analyzing marketing metrics to derive actionable insights.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the technology industry, particularly in blockchain, cryptocurrency, or related sectors.
- Understanding of SEO and digital marketing best practices, an active Farcaster account, network within the APAC marketing and events community.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
- Proficiency in additional APAC languages beyond the required one.
- Passionate about staying abreast of the latest marketing trends and technologies.
