About the Opportunity

Join us at OKX as a Senior Product Designer to be at the forefront of defining the crypto experience landscape. This role presents a unique opportunity to create intuitive, trustworthy, and visually appealing user experiences that set new standards in the dynamic crypto industry. Your role will involve shaping customer-facing designs that cater to a global audience, as well as influencing business-facing design practices to drive strategic decisions and product development. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, you will lead the transformation of ideas into design-driven solutions that resonate with users worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Translate needs from Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams into comprehensive design deliverables to ensure design is integrated throughout the product development cycle.
• Develop design solutions from concept to execution, transforming research insights into groundbreaking products and features, while designing workflows and detailed interactions to bring them to life.
• Support product development with wireframes, user flows, journey maps, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and research to evaluate design effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers to define initiatives, showcase thoughtful solutions, and advocate for user-centric design principles throughout the product lifecycle.
• Work closely with UX Research, UX Writing, Brand, and Product leadership to shape the overall design vision of your designated area.
• Enhance design quality through feedback solicitation from peers and stakeholders, conduct Design Reviews, presentations, and lead design thinking workshops.
• Mentor other designers on design techniques, quality standards, user experience, and processes.
• Iterate on existing designs based on user feedback and data analysis, exploring design styles that align with the product positioning across different stages.
• Serve as the ultimate authority on product design, providing professional recommendations on product expression.

Qualifications

• Exceptional skills in user experience and interaction design, with the ability to apply basic interaction components effectively and make informed decisions in complex design scenarios.
• Strong communication skills to articulate ideas and advocate for design decisions effectively.
• Deep understanding of design's impact on businesses, with a proven track record of empowering businesses in large-scale projects.
• Professionalism, ownership mentality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform well under pressure.
• Experience in leading discussions and workshops to align teams, influence product goals, requirements, and spark innovative ideas.
• Keen aesthetic sense, comprehensive knowledge of design evolution trends, domestically and internationally, with a focus on producing visually appealing and high-quality content.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, UX Writers, and Researchers.

Desirable Skills

• Background in designing for Fintech, Investment platforms, or Crypto products.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams across different time zones.
• Familiarity with React framework for Front End development.
• Proficiency in facilitating design thinking workshops or design sprints with peers, stakeholders, and leadership.
