We are seeking a resilient and analytical individual to join our People Analytics team at Anchorage. In this role, you will be instrumental in integrating our existing systems, conducting in-depth analysis, and acting as the data scientist for the People Team. Your key responsibilities will center around defining a forward-looking strategy for insights and analytics within the People department. Initially, your focus will involve providing analysis upon request and contributing to ad-hoc projects. Gradually, you will transition to consistently delivering actionable insights to leaders. This transformation is geared towards allowing Anchorage Digital to forecast outcomes throughout the employee journey, evaluate the effectiveness of engagement strategies, and facilitate strategic decision-making.
To excel in this position, you must possess the following competencies:
Technical Skills:
- Mastery of data analysis and statistical tools.
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Deep understanding of HR systems such as Lever, Dayforce, Lattice, or similar platforms like Workday, SAP, and BambooHR.
- Experience with data integration and automation tools.
- Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with People analytics and relevant metrics.
Complexity and Impact of Work:
- Tackling intricate data challenges and generating actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Forecasting future trends and outcomes through historical data to contribute to strategic planning.
- Enhancing recruitment processes, employee engagement, retention, and performance using data-driven insights.
- Leading initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost savings through automation and system integration.
- Conducting staffing analysis and skills assessments to ensure optimal team composition.
- Conducting equity analysis to identify and rectify disparities in pay and opportunities.
Organizational Knowledge:
- In-depth comprehension of the company's people processes and systems.
- Familiarity with best practices in People analytics and people management.
- Awareness of the organizational structure and the impact of data on various departments.
- Ability to consolidate and analyze data from multiple People systems for holistic insights.
Communication and Influence:
- Articulating complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to diverse stakeholders.
- Influencing leadership and other departments through data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions.
- Presenting findings and insights to senior leadership regularly for informed decision-making.
- Crafting compelling narratives around data insights to engage stakeholders effectively.
Moreover, ideal candidates exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, coupled with expertise in statistical analysis, data visualization, and compensation analysis. An ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and proficiency in People Systems and Infrastructure is highly desirable.
While emotionally resonating with the soundtrack of Hamilton is not mandatory, it is seen as a plus.
