The product manager role at Anchorage Digital involves identifying loopholes in billing and revenue management, implementing automated solutions, and supporting the growth ambitions of the organization amidst increasing business scope, complexity, and regulatory oversight. The key responsibilities include shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of finance products and services, advocating for the finance and accounting departments' requirements, and influencing the roadmap for other business lines.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Skills:

• Utilize deep product, market, and industry insights to drive informed product decisions and prioritize roadmap initiatives
• Collaborate effectively with engineering and design teams to steer product development activities and oversee ceremonies
• Identify and proactively resolve project hurdles to maintain workflow continuity
• Strike a balance between managing technical debt and developing new features to ensure sustainable long-term product health

Complexity and Impact of Work:

• Independently drive product strategy for a critical Anchorage product
• Take ownership of the product roadmap development and execution
• Lead and engage cross-functional stakeholders to achieve product objectives
• Effectively lead the PDE (Product, Design, Engineering) team for successful outcomes
• Independently tackle complex problems while maintaining strategic alignment

Organizational Knowledge:

• Develop a deep understanding of Anchorage's business model, strategic initiatives, and organizational priorities
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to foster relationships and drive product initiatives
• Align team goals with Anchorage's top-level strategy and objectives
• Work towards influencing organizational strategy through product expertise

Communication and Influence:

• Proactively communicate product goals and status updates across the organization
• Drive coordination and collaboration across Product, Design, and Engineering (PDE) teams
• Educate team members on products and client needs
• Foster consensus and shared understanding through clear communication and engagement

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant product management experience
• Strong empathy and adaptability in working styles
• Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions aligning with strategic goals
• Focus on optimizing end-user experience for creating business value
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bonus Points:

• Experience in writing smart contracts or dApps
• Background in building products for financial institutions as a PM or developer
• Appreciation for the musical "Hamilton"
