Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Responsible for preparing and delivering accurate financial statements in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
- Management Reporting: Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to offer insights into financial performance, trends, and discrepancies.
- Regulatory Reporting: Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements by preparing and submitting reports to regulatory bodies including FATCA/CRS.
- Reconciliations: Oversee the reconciliation process for all financial accounts, promptly identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Tax Filings: Prepare and submit VAT and Corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Audit Support: Assist internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and support to facilitate a smooth and efficient audit process.
- Budgets and Forecasts: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing accurate financial projections and analysis to aid in business decision-making.
- Internal Controls: Ensure the implementation and upkeep of robust internal controls over financial reporting and operations.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with various cross-functional teams such as accounting, tax, legal, and operations to align with business objectives.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certifications: Preferably holding ACCA, CPA, ACA, or CFA qualification.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis.
- Knowledge: Strong grasp of IFRS reporting standards, tax regulations, and compliance.
- Skills:

As our CFO, you will operate at the unique intersection of traditional finance and crypto-asset management. You will own our treasury (fiat + crypto), ensure full MiCA compliance, lead FP&A, and support strategic initiatives like fundraising, M&A, and new product launches (e.g., our crypto card).

Key Responsibilities
Treasury Management
Manage a multi-million Euro treasury. Implement hedging strategies to mitigate volatility risk from daily payment flows. Optimize liquidity across 180+ countries and multiple settlement networks (on-chain, Lightning, SEPA, SWIFT).
Regulatory & Compliance (MiCA)
Ensure full compliance with MiCA requirements (reserve assets, own funds, ongoing reporting to the Bank of Lithuania). Lead audits and maintain relationships with regulators and external auditors. Stay ahead of evolving EU crypto-asset legislation.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and unit economics analysis (interchange fees, processing costs, FX spreads, merchant LTV). Provide data-driven insights to improve gross margins and optimize pricing strategies.
Audit, Control & Reconciliation
Oversee the reconciliation between on-chain activity (blockchain settlements) and off-chain books (fiat bank accounts). Build and maintain robust internal controls for both crypto and fiat operations.

Support the CEO with fundraising, investor relations, and M&A opportunities. Drive profitability analysis for new products (gift cards, crypto card, payment API features).
Requirements
Experience: 8+ years in Finance, with 3+ years as CFO, Finance Director, or Group Controller in a fintech, payment institution.
Crypto Expertise: Mandatory – you must have experience with crypto treasury management, on-chain settlements, and volatility exposure.
Regulatory Knowledge: Hands-on experience with MiCA, PSD2, or EMI licensing in Europe.
Accounting Standards: Strong knowledge of IFRS for digital assets (crypto accounting, impairment, valuation).
