About the Role:
We are seeking a Part-Time Office Manager to join our team at BVNK. In this position, you will be responsible for organizing and coordinating administrative tasks and office procedures to maintain a conducive work environment that promotes organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizing office operations and procedures, such as handling deliveries and managing office supplies and equipment
- Tracking and recording office assets, as well as facilitating asset transfers between BVNK entities
- Coordinating building access for new employees and ensuring office maintenance and necessary repairs are addressed
- Providing general support to visitors, including booking meeting rooms and managing refreshments
- Addressing employees' queries related to office management and liaising with facility management vendors for services like cleaning, health and safety, and security
- Assisting in planning and coordinating logistics for in-house and off-site activities such as events, celebrations, and conferences
Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in a similar role, such as Office Manager, Front Office Manager, or Administrative Assistant
- Familiarity with office administrative responsibilities, systems, and procedures
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities, with a focus on attention to detail and problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong organizational and planning capabilities for fast-paced environments
- Creative thinking to suggest improvements, with proficiency in French considered a plus
- High School degree required; additional qualifications as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary are advantageous

Logistics:
- This role is based in our Cape Town office.
- The position requires working in the office five days a week during typical business hours.
