The Operations Specialist (Night Shift) position at BitGo Europe in Frankfurt entails working on-site from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM, overseeing high-volume, complex, and confidential operational tasks in alignment with company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide operational backing for banking transactions, including regular and unscheduled withdrawals, during night shifts.
- Support withdrawal verification, vault operations, and post-transaction monitoring until on-chain settlement confirmation.
- Manage physical vault operations for nighttime business activities, ensuring secure transaction handling.
- Handle account opening, closure, and maintenance accurately and promptly during night operations.
- Contribute to data management through aiding with reconciliations, daily, monthly, and quarterly AuC (Assets under Custody) reporting for audits.
- Collaborate with Trust Operations team to troubleshoot account issues, ensuring timely responses and problem resolution with various departments.
- Maintain essential hardware and software for night-shift operations, ensuring functionality of backup systems and supporting updates for optimal operation.
Requirements:
- Mandatory availability for night shifts from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM.
- 1-2 years of operational experience preferred, or a Bachelor's/Advanced Degree with a keen interest in financial services or cryptocurrency.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Precision and attention to detail in executing daily tasks.
- Proficiency with work tools like email, spreadsheets, and databases for task management.
- Sense of urgency in providing prompt internal and external client service.
- Analytical, positive attitude with adept problem-solving abilities.
