Key Responsibilities:
Circle is in search of an exceptional professional to interact with developers, entrepreneurs, and creators in writing engaging content as a member of our Circle Developer Experience Product team. We are seeking a Principal Technical Writer who will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, alongside our Developer Relations team, to craft compelling written material that resonates with developers and inspires them to explore the full potential of building with Circle's tools and services.
Key Duties:
- Developing comprehensive documentation and educational resources to facilitate developers in utilizing our APIs efficiently.
- Strategizing logical information presentation to enhance reader comprehension and foster developer success.
- Generating fresh concepts for content and workflow solutions employing our APIs.
- Engaging with subject matter experts across product and engineering divisions to grasp product details and tailor documentation to meet specific needs effectively.
- Analyzing requirements for creating or revising developer and technical documentation.
- Reviewing and refining content produced by fellow Technical Writing team members.
Your Essential Contributions to Circle:
- Over 7 years' experience in crafting user guides, integration guides, API developer resources, mobile development documentation, in-platform instructions, and system operations documentation.
- 7+ years of demonstrated expertise within a technology-driven environment.
- Deep passion for enriching the developer experience through seamless documentation.
- Strong technical acumen in blockchain technologies and ecosystems.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication capabilities.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, prioritize tasks, communicate effectively in a small team setup.
- Comfort in undertaking long-term, intricate technical writing projects autonomously.
- Familiarity or experience with tools like GitHub, Git, and proficiency in coding/scripting languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, CSS, Python, REST APIs, and standard office suite applications.
Additional Information:

- Base Pay Range: $175,000 - $225,000
- Annual Bonus Target: 17.5%
- Additional Benefits: Equity, Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k), discretionary leave policy, 10 days of paid sick leave per year, plus 11 paid holidays annually in the U.S.
