The Product Compliance team at Binance Global is actively involved in facilitating new product initiatives, providing regulatory guidance, and presenting suggestions. In this role, you will play an essential role in the entire lifecycle of new product development, from inception to launch.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure comprehensive compliance controls cover all aspects of business unit product launches, new features, maintenance, and implementation of country-specific product limitations within various operational areas.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to devise compliance plans that align with business unit objectives and embed best practices in products and services.
- Engage closely with product teams, global compliance teams, and local/regional regulatory points of contact to ensure regulatory compliance, timely launches, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in regular meetings for business units with regulatory commitments, assist in Master Service Agreement negotiations, review and execute regulatory adjustments, and deliver necessary training.
- Foster strong relationships across the organization, promoting a positive image of the Product Compliance Team to efficiently and effectively support work activities.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes impacting product offerings and assist other product initiatives as needed to ensure thorough global coverage.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in financial regulations, preferably within a cryptocurrency-focused business, fintech sector, broker-dealer, investment advisory firm, asset management company, or bank holding setup.
- Strong knowledge of derivatives and associated regulatory frameworks, understanding of crypto products and technology, and staying abreast of recent regulatory updates.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at stakeholder management, ability to work independently, prioritize projects based on regulatory risks and business requirements.
- Keen interest in Web3 and proficient understanding of prevailing regulatory themes.
