Opportunity
Crypto.com is currently seeking a Product Design Manager to lead a team of designers within the Exchange division. In this role, you will be instrumental in defining the design direction for various products across web and mobile apps. Your responsibilities will include supporting and collaborating with product designers, liaising with product managers, and fostering a conducive environment for your team to deliver superior design work.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor designers through collaborative design discussions, feedback, and guidance.
- Develop designs to steer product and feature development, convey concepts effectively, or offer additional support.
- Work closely with multiple product managers responsible for different features within the Exchange division to establish timelines, priorities, and ensure smooth delivery.
- Offer direction, coaching, and a supportive environment for the designers under your supervision to nurture their professional development.
- Establish, refine, and update an effective design process for your team.
- Share your in-depth design expertise and knowledge to facilitate the growth of other designers.
- Conduct and oversee user research initiatives, such as one-on-one interviews, focus groups, and usability tests.
- Collaborate with the executive team to comprehend and implement the overarching vision and strategic direction.
- Clearly communicate design decisions, rationale, and overall design direction to other teams.
- Actively engage with the exchange platform, identifying and addressing any design and product-related issues observed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a premier trading environment.
- Proficient in trading practices.
- Exceptional design acumen with the ability to bring a comprehensive skill set to the team.
- Extensive track record of designing various B2C digital products/services targeting global audiences.
- Robust portfolio showcasing digital product and service design examples.
- Thorough understanding of user-centric design and user experience principles, coupled with a strong creative vision for planning design strategies in alignment with senior stakeholders.
- Capable of overseeing multiple projects and delivering high-quality products at scale.
- Proven experience in developing and mentoring a design team.
- Accomplished leadership skills with a keen creative vision, a grasp of business objectives, and prowess in translating ideas into actionable plans through effective collaboration with the product design team.
- Submission of a portfolio is mandatory for consideration.
