The Opportunity
Crypto.com is seeking a Product Design Manager to lead a team of designers within the Exchange division. In this role, you will be instrumental in defining the design direction for various products across web and mobile platforms. Your responsibilities will include supporting product designers, collaborating with product managers, and cultivating a conducive environment for the team to deliver exceptional designs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of designers by fostering collaboration, providing feedback, and setting design direction.
- Create designs to guide product and feature development, convey concepts, and offer additional support.
- Collaborate with different product managers overseeing various Exchange features to establish timelines, priorities, and ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor and support your designers, cultivating a positive design environment that encourages their professional growth.
- Establish, refine, and manage an effective design process for the team.
- Share your extensive design expertise and knowledge to mentor fellow designers.
- Conduct user research activities such as user interviews, focus groups, and usability tests.
- Work closely with the executive team to align design decisions with the overarching vision.
- Effectively articulate and present design direction, decisions, and rationale to cross-functional teams.
- Actively engage with the exchange platform, identifying and addressing any design or product issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working within a leading trading team.
- Strong proficiency as a trader.
- Exceptional grasp of design principles and the ability to bring robust design skills to the team.
- Extensive track record designing multiple B2C digital products/services for global audiences.
- Robust portfolio demonstrating diverse digital product and service design examples.
- Deep understanding of user-centric design and user experience principles, coupled with a keen creative vision for strategic design planning.
- Proficient in managing multiple projects concurrently and delivering high-quality products at scale.
- Experience in developing and nurturing a design team.
- A visionary leader with a deep creative insight, capable of aligning with business objectives and effectively executing ideas alongside the product design team.
- Submission of a portfolio is mandatory for consideration.
