The Opportunity
Crypto.com seeks a Product Design Manager to lead a team of designers within the Exchange division. This role involves shaping the design direction for various products across web and mobile applications, supporting product designers, collaborating with product managers, and fostering a positive environment for the team to produce top-notch designs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design team through collaboration, feedback, and guidance.
- Create designs to support product development and feature direction.
- Collaborate with various product managers in the Exchange to establish timelines, priorities, and delivery schedules.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and support for designers to facilitate their professional growth.
- Establish, update, and maintain an effective design process for the team.
- Share deep design expertise and knowledge to mentor fellow designers.
- Conduct user research activities such as interviews, focus groups, and usability tests.
- Align with the executive team to understand and implement the overarching vision and direction.
- Present design decisions, rationale, and direction to cross-functional teams.
- Actively engage with the exchange platform, identifying and addressing design and product issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience on a top-tier trading team.
- Strong trading background.
- Exceptional knowledge of design principles and the ability to contribute a diverse skill set to the team.
- Extensive experience designing B2C digital products/services for global audiences.
- Robust portfolio showcasing digital product and service design examples.
- Profound understanding of user-centered design and user experience principles, along with a strategic vision to outline design roadmaps with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects concurrently and delivering high-quality products at scale.
- Experience in leading and developing a design team.
- Proven leadership skills with a keen creative vision, business acumen, and the ability to execute ideas with the product design team.
- Submission of a portfolio is mandatory for consideration.
