Product Manager - Marketing Automation Platform

Role Overview:
As part of this role, you will be tasked with developing the fundamental marketing platform that drives user engagement through various channels. This position involves overseeing backend capabilities encompassing audience management, messaging, campaign coordination, marketing templates, and workflow automation to facilitate efficient and scalable marketing operations for internal teams.
Working closely with cross-functional teams such as Growth, Marketing, Operations, Data, Engineering, and Compliance, you will focus on enhancing marketing efficiency by implementing automation strategies, data-informed decision-making processes, and integrating AI-driven features within the product.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage the product roadmap for essential marketing platform modules, covering areas like Push Notifications, User Segments, Marketing Templates, Workflow Automation, and Campaign Management.
- Design and implement scalable audience segmentation and tagging features to support versatile targeting options across varied business scenarios.
- Develop marketing coordination capabilities across multiple channels, including push notifications, email marketing, in-app messaging, scheduling, frequency regulation, and campaign performance monitoring.
- Create workflow automation mechanisms that enable marketing actions triggered by user behavior, business events, target audience rules, and operational criteria.
- Enhance the marketing template platform by offering reusable and customizable templates to streamline campaign launches for business teams.
- Explore opportunities for AI-driven enhancements in marketing operations, involving workflow optimization, campaign setup, content generation, strategic recommendations, and performance assessments.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to comprehend business requirements and translate them into scalable platform solutions.
- Define product specifications, user mechanisms, performance indicators, and acceptance standards.
- Continuously refine platform usability, adaptability, operational effectiveness, stability, and scalability.
Requirements:
- Possess at least 8 years of Product Management expertise, with a preference for experience in constructing backend platforms, CRM systems, marketing platforms, growth-oriented products, or data platforms.
- Strong grasp of marketing technology, including audience segmentation, tagging systems, campaign management, messaging platforms, marketing automation, or lifecycle marketing.
- Demonstrated experience in building scalable platform products catering to multiple internal teams.
- Familiarity with multi-channel messaging like push notifications, email marketing, in-app messaging, or other communication systems.
- Strong product-oriented mindset balancing business requirements, platform scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Proficient in analytics with experience defining metrics, assessing product performance, and steering iterative improvements.
- Show interest in utilizing AI technologies to enhance product capabilities, operational efficiency, and decision-making processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with prior experience collaborating closely with Engineering, Data, Operations, Marketing, and Business teams.
- Exhibits a strong sense of ownership with a keen eye for product usability and execution quality.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience with workflow automation, no-code/low-code platforms, CRM modernization, or marketing technology products.
- Background in fintech, trading platforms, e-commerce, gaming platforms, social products, or international consumer products.
- Familiarity with experimentation frameworks, A/B testing practices, recommendation or decision systems, or AI-enhanced product functionalities.
