Product Marketing Director (Contract to Hire)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented individual in the role of Product Marketing Director to drive client acquisition, engagement, and retention for our services in the areas of B2B fintech, finance, or crypto. The primary goal is to enhance revenue through direct sales support and initiatives. This position involves implementing a go-to-market strategy, overseeing affiliate marketing, executing campaigns, creating marketing content, and monitoring performance metrics. The ideal candidate should possess industry knowledge or be willing to develop it, strong analytical abilities, and be skilled in executing impactful marketing strategies.
Initially offered on a part-time basis (20 - 30 hours per week), there is a significant opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the B2B crypto and fintech marketing realm. The role will be under the supervision of the SVP of Product Marketing and entails leading a small team, potentially expanding through additional hires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement product marketing strategies to attract and retain institutional and professional clients.
- Conduct GTM tests to evaluate new marketing strategies and refine messaging.
- Launch GTM programs formally, iterating based on successful test performances.
- Generate tailored content, campaigns, and thought leadership pieces for the crypto and fintech audience.
- Execute outreach campaigns to secure partnerships that drive revenue growth.
- Manage referral and affiliate marketing programs, maximizing ROI.
- Track performance metrics and help improve decision-making through marketing reporting.
- Monitor conference spend, brand presence at events, and relationships with event organizers and PR agencies.
- Summarize marketing projects quarterly and annually, mapping KPIs and business objectives.
- Collaborate with product, sales, and growth teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Seek out strategic partnerships and industry collaborations to enhance brand visibility and client acquisition.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in crypto and fintech to guide marketing tactics.
- Acquire proficiency in marketing automation, data analytics, and reporting tools for optimizing campaign performance.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-10 years working in product marketing, growth marketing, or related roles within a B2B fintech, finance, or crypto setting.
- Desirable to have experience and contacts within fintech or crypto industries.
- Strong analytical skills for tracking, measuring, and improving marketing performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting content and campaign messaging.
- Proficiency in GTM strategies, campaign execution, and performance analysis.
- Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Marketo, Google Analytics, and Looker. Experience with migrating onto these platforms is a plus.
- Capacity to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Preferred: Knowledge of crypto trading, custody, staking, and blockchain infrastructure.
This position at sFox is fully remote. The expected compensation range is $75.00 - $100.00 per hour, dependent on experience, qualifications, and location.
