Overview
As a Safety Program Coordinator at CleanSpark, Inc., you play a vital role in promoting a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility within the organization. Your responsibilities include managing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSI) programs to ensure regulatory compliance, uphold workplace safety standards, and align with operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation related to safety initiatives and HSI programs.
Maintain confidential records, files, and databases associated with safety management.
HSI Program Administration:
Manage HSI policies and procedures.
Support initiatives to enhance workplace safety and reduce environmental impact.
Facilitate communication between safety department and other departments.
Training and Education:
Organize safety training sessions and workshops for employees.
Maintain training records, ensure certifications are up-to-date, and develop training materials.
Incident Management:
Report and document workplace incidents.
Conduct preliminary investigations and implement corrective actions.
Safety Inspections and Audits:
Participate in safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Identify hazards and recommend preventive measures.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay informed about safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Ensure company practices align with legal requirements and industry standards.
Data Management and Reporting:
Analyze safety-related data and prepare reports.
Manage systems and databases for tracking safety metrics.
Collaboration and Communication:
Address employee safety concerns and facilitate communication.
Participate in safety committee meetings and support safety initiatives.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in safety administration or related role.
- Knowledge: Understanding of OSHA regulations, workplace safety practices, and environmental compliance.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in safety program development, training coordination, and First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
