Job Summary:
Crypto.com is seeking a motivated individual to lead sales efforts in the sectors of prediction markets, regulated derivatives, and digital assets. As the Director of Sales (Exchange), you will play a crucial role in driving growth in the Predictions and Exchange business in the US. This dynamic position involves cultivating relationships with firms and traders keen on event contracts, binary derivatives, and CFTC-regulated crypto products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Actively seek out, pitch to, and onboard institutional and VIP clients interested in regulated crypto derivatives exposure.
- Expand the client base for Crypto.com's prediction markets and event contract offerings, targeting firms already engaged in event-driven or binary derivatives strategies.
- Foster adoption among clients active in CME Bitcoin/Ether futures and options, bridging the gap between traditional regulated derivatives and on-exchange crypto products.
- Identify and capitalize on institutional opportunities in tokenized real-world assets, collaborating with product teams to tailor solutions for asset managers and alternative investment funds.
- Establish and nurture relationships with FCM counterparties, prime brokers, and clearing firms to enhance our regulated derivatives presence in the US.
- Strategically present the full suite of Crypto.com services — including OTC, API trading, custody, and regulated derivatives — as an integrated solution to meet client needs.
- Provide market intelligence to the product team, derived from client interactions, to contribute to future product development.
- Represent Crypto.com at industry events to promote brand visibility and network with key stakeholders.
- Take ownership of the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to contract signing.
- Stay informed on CME developments, FCM partnerships, RWA entrants, and regulatory shifts to maintain a competitive value proposition.
Job Requirements:
- Possession of 8+ years of experience in institutional sales or business development within a high-growth financial environment.
- Demonstrable expertise in prediction market structures or tokenized products, along with existing industry relationships.
- Direct experience with CME-listed products, FCM operations, cleared derivatives, or CFTC-regulated markets from sell-side, exchange, or institutional buy-side perspectives.
- A minimum of 3 years working in digital assets/Web3, specifically in outbound sales for an exchange, custodian, prime broker, or regulated crypto derivatives platform.
- A well-established client base across prop trading firms, hedge funds, asset managers, FCMs, and clearing brokers in US regulated markets.
- Proven track record of cultivating and capitalizing on institutional relationships, resulting in measurable revenue and volume outcomes.
- Comfort with navigating the US regulatory landscape, including knowledge about CFTC, NFA, and SEC digital asset frameworks.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex derivatives and digital asset concepts to C-suite audiences.
