Senior Accounting Manager

About the Team:
We are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee accurate financial accounting, lead external audits, and deliver financial data promptly. This role will collaborate closely with the Head of Finance and Controller to provide support to our OKX business worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day general ledger operations, including reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations for various entities.
- Assess accounting integrations and collaborate with Group Finance for consolidation activities.
- Establish and implement accounting policies while ensuring accurate accounting for US GAAP to IFRS variances.
- Manage intercompany and consolidation processes for US entities, evaluating the need for SLAs, expense allocations, or transfer pricing.
- Partner cross-functionally to enhance accounting processes such as reconciliations, report preparation, and transaction reviews.
- Educate the Finance team on advanced accounting concepts and controls.
- Review prior year financial statements and work with auditors to determine necessary adjustments for the current year.
- Support the Controller for the Americas, Global Head of Finance Operations, and other team members in achieving department goals.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in leading accounting teams through the close cycle and driving project completion.
- Minimum of 8 years' progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 or large regional firm background.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Active CPA license and NetSuite proficiency required.
- Ideally previous managerial experience in public accounting, with Big 4 background preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in financial services, fintech, tech, or cryptocurrency.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
- Proficiency in NetSuite, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to work independently.

The salary range for this position is $144,000 to $216,000, which may vary based on relevant factors such as skills, experience, and location.
