Description

The Exchange Support team is seeking individuals to join the team responsible for overseeing the global system supporting the firm’s cryptocurrency trading business around the clock. The team provides second and third level support to business users and oversees the production environment for key business lines, including the Exchange platform, Risk management system, Backoffice, Market data, and non-trading activities.

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical support to Sales, Business Users, Institutional, and Retail customers, focusing on application support, API support, and network connectivity.
  • Taking ownership of identifying and resolving production incidents, collaborating with various technical and business support teams, and ensuring timely incident escalation and resolution.
  • Ownership of release activities, participation in audit reviews, and execution of Business Continuity Planning exercises.
  • Monitoring and automating application and infrastructure alerts to maintain system stability and uptime, while also ensuring documentation of standard operating procedures.
  • Identifying areas for improvement, implementing process optimizations, automating manual tasks, and enhancing service levels for end users.

Required Skills

  • 7 to 15 years of Production Support experience in the Banking or Financial Service industry.
  • Technical proficiency in UNIX commands, SQL queries, and scripting languages like Bash and Python. Previous experience with FIX protocol and APIs is required.
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Java systems, Cloud Technology, and DevOps tools.
  • Good knowledge of monitoring, visualization, and scheduling tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Control-M, ITRS Geneos, and Dynatrace.
  • Service-oriented with strong incident handling and troubleshooting skills. ITIL certification preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in supporting Trading Systems in domains such as Equities, Derivatives, FX, or Cryptocurrency.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, meet demanding deadlines, and pay attention to detail.
  • Proactive, able to quickly learn new concepts, business areas, and technologies.
  • Availability for shift work and weekend support.
