Opportunity Overview

We are in search of a meticulous and experienced designer to elevate our design system. As a systems designer, you will enhance the design capabilities across the organization to create cohesive, accessible, and high-quality experiences for customers. By leading and advancing our multi-platform design system, you will develop a comprehensive and intuitive documentation system, and innovate and refine components to enhance visual and interaction patterns. Your role will involve supporting the design system through research, mockups, prototypes, and thoughtful interaction design.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and document intuitive components for the Design System at OKX
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to establish a world-class Design System
• Create micro interactions, transitions, and animations for product touchpoints
• Design icons, components, and asset libraries along with appropriate documentation
• Advocate systems thinking and maintain consistent, high-quality design by working closely with designers across the organization
• Collaborate with various teams to shape the vision and strategy, defining visual design principles for brand expression
• Solicit feedback, conduct design reviews, and elevate the design quality
• Stay updated on industry trends related to branded product experiences
• Work with Engineering to create robust components in Figma for multiple devices
• Deliver work that aligns with team standards and company brand

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field
• Over 3 years of experience in Design Systems within a complex environment
• 5+ years in Product Design, Interaction Design, or UX Design with focus on design systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Proficiency in design for various platforms and building Design Systems in Figma, Sketch, etc.
• Familiarity with web development languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and Google's Material Design
• Experience utilizing data for decision-making and impact measurement
• Results-driven mindset and adaptability to changes
• Ability to mentor and guide other designers on best practices

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in Fintech, Investment platforms, or Crypto products design
• Experience working within distributed teams across different locations
• Understanding of React framework for Front End development
