About the Role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer at Figure Technology Solutions to contribute to architecting, implementing, and expanding our cloud infrastructure and platform tools. This role plays a crucial part in supporting our direct-to-consumer products that are reshaping the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance the engineer's experience through new feature implementations on internal platforms.
• Proactively identify and solve problems to streamline processes.
• Drive inventive technical solutions while adhering to iterative principles.
• Collaborate with project leads and software engineers across various teams.
• Utilize technical expertise to address real-world challenges.
• Engage in a team on-call rotation as needed.

Requirements

• 3-4 years experience in DevOps, SRE, or development in an agile setting.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps best practices and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Ability to lead projects from concept to release.
• Proficiency in cloud computing platforms like GCP or AWS.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Kubernetes Operators, and modern API Gateways (e.g., Kong, NGINX).
• Experience in Go or a similar programming language.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Experience in automation tools like Atlantis, Terraform Cloud, etc.
• Proficiency in scaling CI/CD platforms (e.g., Github Actions, ArgoCD) with considerations for engineer satisfaction.
• Experience in maintaining high availability and high-traffic production web environments.
• Strong team player who enjoys collaboration.

*Note: Salary range for residents in CO, NY, CA, and WA is $119,680 - $149,600 with up to a 25% bonus and equity. Final compensation may vary based on candidate experience and location feedback.
