Responsibilities
- Communicating regularly with a wide range of clients to provide updates, solutions, and documenting all activities for future reference.
- Monitoring and tracking client FIX connectivity using tools like Prometheus and ITRS.
- Adhering to a stringent change management process, including testing in UAT and live environments.
- Managing capacity and handling audit requests efficiently.
- Performing small-scale application upgrades, configurations, and patching across multiple environments.
- Overseeing, performing QA, and approving all production changes and upgrades.
- Contributing to improving processes at both the departmental and company-wide levels.
- Documenting Critical Issues/Processes related to platforms and general support.
- Operating on a shift schedule covering APAC hours as well as weekend rotations.
Requirements
- Proficiency in FIX messaging/connectivity versions FIX4.4 & 5.0 is essential.
- Experience in client onboarding, enablement, and support on platforms is advantageous.
- Proven track record as a Support Analyst with 4-9 years of experience supporting capital markets solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Previous involvement in Incident/Problem management with various teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Ability to take responsibility for issue resolution and additional tasks when necessary.
- Proficient in scripting and programming, with a high level of competency in Linux environments.
- Understanding of networking, client/server technology, and cloud computing, particularly AWS.
- Familiarity with Agile Software Development practices and processes.
- Knowledge of various asset types and associated business flows.
- Capability to actively contribute to technical and functional discussions.
- Passion for process excellence and achieving results through effective organization.
- Comfort working independently and as part of a team while maintaining composure in all situations.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
