About the role
Toku is seeking a seasoned Senior HR Account Manager to spearhead HR operations and partner relations for client organizations. As a key member of the HR team, you will oversee client interactions, people programs, and regulatory compliance matters. Day-to-day responsibilities involve managing end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, handling payroll activities, and overseeing general HR and operational tasks.

Responsibilities
- Direct the management of complex HR operational issues throughout the employee life cycle, encompassing onboarding, leave management, compliance, payroll, benefits, and offboarding processes.
- Collaborate with Toku's Benefits team to lead US benefit initiatives, implement processes, and conduct annual open enrollment activities.
- Administer bi-monthly US payroll, benefits, and 401k contributions.
- Contribute to developing Toku's HR knowledge repository by documenting employment regulations across various jurisdictions.
- Foster positive employee relations through regular check-ins and comprehensive documentation of employee inquiries and feedback.
- Support special projects as the need arises.
Requirements
- Proficiency in client-oriented HR roles within an Employer of Record (EOR) or Professional Employer Organization (PEO) setting.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in HR management, generalist functions, or as a business partner.
- Comprehensive HR knowledge covering operations, benefits, payroll, employee relations, and employment legislation.
- Strong leadership skills with effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Capacity to independently manage multiple projects and workflows efficiently.
- Prior experience working in startups and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Highly motivated individual with experience in entrepreneurship or managing side projects preferred.
- Availability within the North America Time Zone.
