Senior Product Designer

Genies is looking for a seasoned professional to join their team as a Senior Product Designer. This role involves reshaping the digital identity landscape by introducing intuitive UI/UX designs for avatar AI and social networks. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the Head of Design and executive team to enhance existing and future Genies products. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces as well as anticipate the impact of emerging technologies like XR and AI on mobile and spatial computing, social products, and experiences. As a product designer at Genies, you will have the opportunity to shape the product and design roadmap, working alongside the founders, engineering, and product leaders to address complex technical challenges by redefining design principles, user interfaces, workflows, and interactivity.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of UI/UX mobile design experience showcasing expertise in design execution
• Proficiency in interactive and motion design is advantageous
• Capability to lead end-to-end design projects for mobile platforms
• Hands-on approach is crucial for this role
• Excellent skills in UI/UX design with a diverse portfolio demonstrating creativity and research
• Strong product and systems thinking with a proven track record of delivering valuable user experiences
• Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Spline, Unity, Adobe Suite, and 3d
• Strong storytelling abilities to inspire through compelling narratives
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn continuously
• Experience with prototyping at both low and high fidelity levels
• Proficient in presenting information visually and in writing
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal

Responsibilities:

• Act as the key Product Designer for Genies' new product lines
• Shape user experience, interactions, and interfaces through various design stages
• Work simultaneously on MVP designs while expanding the boundaries of the core product vision
• Lead user research, stakeholder interviews, and problem framing to envision opportunities
• Apply human-centered design principles to develop user stories, personas, flows, mockups, prototypes, and specifications
• Take ownership of projects from inception to completion, guiding junior and intermediate designers
• Contribute to defining and implementing product design strategies and visions, advocating for best practices and operationalizing these strategies
• Utilize designs to drive internal exploration and Research & Development (R&D)
• Maintain visual and brand consistency across all products and platforms
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Engineering, Product, Art & Animation, and Senior Management

Compensation Details: Genies offers competitive salaries with a starting salary range from $200,000 to $260,000, depending on various factors. Full-time employees may be eligible for equity compensation, along with a comprehensive health, wellness, and benefits package.
