Senior QA Engineer (Java Coding)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with various team members, such as developers, product managers, customer support, and partners to meticulously devise comprehensive automation test cases and bring forth top-notch products.
• Identify, analyze, and monitor product defects and issues while conducting in-depth root cause analyses of test script failures.
• Engage in manual examination and recreation of functional backend software issues.
• Identify deficiencies in test scripts and propose solutions to augment scripted coverage.
• Perform investigative testing of unreleased features, encompassing defining requirements, behavior, and impact.
• Develop and document test scenarios for the above-mentioned activities.
• Stay abreast of the latest technology trends to continuously enhance the team's testing procedures, methodologies, and productivity.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the aforementioned responsibilities.
• Profound understanding of software QA automation methodologies, backend testing, automated frameworks, and design processes.
• Well-versed in SQL, possess robust coding skills with a preference for Java proficiency.
• Competent in conducting root cause analysis to pinpoint and rectify underlying issues affecting software quality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of working autonomously.
• A passion for problem-solving and breaking down challenges to understand not just 'what' happened, but 'why'.
• A customer-focused mindset accompanied by strong logical thinking.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin required for effective coordination with international partners and stakeholders.
