WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are in search of a dynamic Senior Software Sales Executive with extensive experience to lead enterprise-level sales of financial technology solutions to top banking, investment, and capital markets entities. The ideal candidate possesses deep industry knowledge in banking and capital markets, proven prowess in software/SaaS sales, and the ability to cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders.
HOW YOU'LL PLAY YOUR PART
- New Business Development: Identifying and closing new software sales opportunities with premier financial institutions.
- Account Management: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with senior executives across different departments.
- Solution Selling: Presenting the value proposition of sophisticated fintech software solutions.
- Sales Cycle Management: Overseeing the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation.
- Market Intelligence: Keeping informed on industry developments and trends impacting financial services.
- Collaboration: Working closely with various internal teams to deliver customized solutions to clients.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Providing accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports to senior management.
THE EXPERIENCE YOU WILL BRING
- Experience: 7–10+ years in enterprise software sales within fintech or financial institutions.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of banking, capital markets, and trading environments.
- Network: Existing contacts within North American financial institutions.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is advantageous.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SaaS or enterprise software solutions.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks.
- Technical proficiency in APIs, data integration, or financial infrastructure.
