Senior Tax Associate, Transfer Pricing
The Finance & Accounting team oversees various functions, including Financial Control, Procurement, Digital Transformation, Tax, and Treasury. They work collaboratively on global finance initiatives with precision and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The Transfer Pricing Senior Associate / Manager position involves working on the company's transfer pricing policies and documentation, managing intercompany transactions, preparing Local File/Master File documentation, and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR). This role requires strong analytical skills, experience in financial services or tech-oriented environments, and effective collaboration across different teams to handle intricate intercompany structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and align intercompany journal entries for transfer pricing compliance with global tax accounting standards.
- Assist in creating and upholding transfer pricing documentation based on OECD and local regulations (Local File, Master File, CbCR).
- Support the development and oversight of the Group transfer pricing model, implementing transfer pricing policies and legal agreements for intercompany transactions.
- Liaise with finance teams and advisors to promptly submit CbCR, BEPS Pillar 2, and other transfer pricing reports.
- Conduct financial analyses and benchmarking to support transfer pricing decisions and work with external advisors on projects.
- Collaborate with accounting, legal, treasury, and business units to coordinate transfer pricing efforts with other business functions.
- Aid in tax and financial audits by preparing necessary responses and documentation.
- Streamline processes and utilize tax, accounting, and AI technology for efficient data gathering and reporting.
- Stay informed about global tax laws, transfer pricing regulations, OECD guidelines, and industry developments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.
- 4+ years in transfer pricing or tax, including experience in-house or at Big 4/consulting firms; fintech/tech background is advantageous.
- Profound understanding of OECD guidelines, Local File/Master File, BEPS Pillar 2, and CbCR.
- Ability to adapt and engage in practical transfer pricing activities.
- Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and experience with relevant tools.
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP and tax software preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a knack for driving workstreams to completion.
- Independent yet team-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) preferred.
