Site Reliability Engineer, Blockchain Infrastructure

The project is being developed around a Web3 trading infrastructure platform. As part of our long-term vision, the UK team at Iress is building a scalable, secure, and production-ready platform for trading, staking, and DeFi functionality. To support this effort, we are looking for experienced blockchain developers who can contribute to smart contract development, architecture, security, and overall platform implementation. We are currently in the team-building phase and identifying developers whose experience aligns with the technical requirements of the project. Selected candidates will be invited to discuss the project roadmap, responsibilities, and collaboration model with the UK technical leadership team.

About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Business Development Manager who can help Schedar build strategic relationships across the AI, Web3, crypto, infrastructure, and startup ecosystem.
This is not a “send cold messages and collect logos” role. We need someone who can identify high-value founders, protocols, funds, ecosystem partners, communities, infrastructure providers, KOLs, accelerators, and technical teams — then turn those relationships into real opportunities for collaboration, deal flow, partnerships, talent, and growth.
You’ll work directly with Schedar’s team, founders, portfolio-related projects, and external ecosystem partners to expand Schedar’s network and support early-stage AI-native and Web3 products.
What You’ll Own
Identify and source high-potential startups, founders, projects, protocols, and ecosystem partners across AI and Web3
Build relationships with founders, operators, investors, accelerators, developer communities, protocol ecosystems, KOLs, and strategic partners
Create and manage outbound BD pipelines across LinkedIn, Telegram, X, email, Discord, events, and founder communities
Support Schedar’s deal flow by discovering early-stage AI-native and Web3 projects that may be relevant for investment, incubation, or collaboration
Build partnership opportunities for Schedar-backed and incubated projects
Map key ecosystems, communities, events, accelerators, grants programs, and founder networks
Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on relevance, stage, traction, team quality, technical depth, and strategic fit
Coordinate intro calls, follow-ups, partner conversations, and relationship tracking
Maintain CRM hygiene and structured notes on founders, projects, partners, and opportunities
Work with product, growth, recruiting, and investment teams to turn ecosystem relationships into actionable outcomes
Help represent Schedar in online communities, events, founder groups, and partner conversations
What We’re Looking For
Experience in business development, partnerships, ecosystem growth, venture scouting, startup operations, community, sales, or founder relations

You’ll work directly with Schedar’s team, founders, portfolio companies, technical builders, and external partners to help Schedar become more visible and connected across the AI-native and Web3 ecosystem.
What You’ll Own
Identify high-value conferences, side events, hackathons, demo days, founder communities, accelerators, university networks, and ecosystem gatherings across AI and Web3
Build and manage Schedar’s event strategy, including hosted events, co-hosted events, private founder dinners, meetups, workshops, panels, and online sessions
Source and build partnerships with protocols, startups, communities, VCs, accelerators, dev communities, KOLs, media partners, and ecosystem organizations
