Technical Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Manage complex and large-scale cross-team, cross-functional technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with development teams to estimate work efforts, define milestones, and allocate resources effectively.
- Ensure successful project delivery by engaging with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor progress, address dependencies and risks, and provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.
- Establish metrics to measure and track the progress of initiatives, making data-driven decisions.
- Coordinate technology initiatives with business feature rollouts to align tech and business priorities.
- Create and maintain documentation tailored for various audiences, such as production support playbooks and API documentation.
- Enhance deployment workflows and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project and program management within a software application context.
- Deep understanding of software development, architecture, and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies; experience as a Scrum Master is advantageous.
- Proficient in communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders from different business units.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to unite diverse groups towards a common objective.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; mentoring experience is a bonus.
- Skilled in facilitating meetings, summarizing documentation, and establishing processes.
- Proficient in driving automation and fostering knowledge sharing within teams.
- Fluency in verbal and written English; knowing Mandarin and Cantonese is a plus.
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence tools.
- Preferred certifications include PMP, CSM, PSM, ACP.
