Technical Project Manager, Exchange

The team responsible for developing and maintaining a state-of-the-art trading platform spans multiple regions worldwide. They focus on delivering a secure and seamless trading experience for clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead Strategic Initiatives: Take charge of large-scale technology projects, overseeing the entire process from inception to completion while ensuring effective coordination among various teams.
• Drive Project Execution: Manage project lifecycles by tracking progress, resolving dependencies, mitigating risks, and providing transparent status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Empower Development Teams: Collaborate with development teams to outline project scopes, define milestones, and manage resources efficiently. Enhance knowledge sharing within the team and streamline deployment workflows.
• Drive Data-Informed Decisions: Establish and monitor metrics related to initiatives to guide strategy and measure success.
• Orchestrate Tech & Business Alignment: Ensure alignment between technology initiatives and business feature delivery, fostering coordination across teams to balance technical and business priorities effectively.
• High Quality Documentation: Foster the creation and upkeep of top-notch technical documentation for various audiences, including production support playbooks and API guides.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software project management experience; familiarity with cryptocurrency trading or exchange platforms is preferred.
• In-depth understanding of software development lifecycle, architecture, and infrastructure.
• Exposure to Waterfall and Agile development methodologies, with experience as a Scrum Master considered advantageous.
• Proficiency in API and FIX protocol usage within a trading environment.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across business units.
• Excellent problem-solving ability and capability to unite diverse groups towards a common goal.
• Experience in process improvement and automation, demonstrating a proactive and can-do attitude.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English is mandatory; Mandarin and Cantonese language skills are a plus for interactions with key business partners in the APAC region.
• Proficiency in project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
