Technical Project Manager, Exchange
The team responsible for the exchange platform development aims to create and maintain a state-of-the-art trading system. They are a global team operating across APAC, EMEA, and North America, dedicated to delivering a secure and seamless trading experience for clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Initiatives: Manage large-scale technology projects from inception to completion, ensuring effective collaboration across various teams.
- Drive Project Execution: Actively oversee project progress, resolve dependencies, mitigate risks, and provide clear updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Empower Development Teams: Collaborate with development teams to define project scopes, set milestones, and allocate resources efficiently to enhance workflow and knowledge sharing.
- Drive Data-Informed Decisions: Define and monitor metrics for projects to guide strategies and evaluate success using data.
- Orchestrate Tech & Business Alignment: Ensure technology projects align with business goals, coordinating between teams to balance technical and business priorities effectively.
- High-Quality Documentation: Facilitate the creation and maintenance of detailed technical documentation for different audiences, including support playbooks and API guides.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software project management, with a preference for knowledge of crypto trading or exchange platforms.
- Profound understanding of software development life cycles, architecture, and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies, with experience as a Scrum Master considered a bonus.
- Solid grasp of API and FIX protocol usage in a trading environment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders across all business units.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to align diverse groups towards common objectives.
- Experience in process enhancement and automation with a proactive attitude.
- Fluent in verbal and written English, proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is advantageous for interactions with APAC partners.
- Proficiency in project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
