Trading Initiatives & Business Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join our Trading team in the role of Trading Initiatives & Business Manager. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional interested in exploring and implementing new trading strategies and financial instruments in the realms of crypto, TradFi, and prediction markets.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the execution of new trading initiatives, from the initial research stage to the final implementation, utilizing AI tools to enhance competitor analysis, research processes, and project monitoring. This role involves close collaboration with traders, inter-departmental teams, and external partners on a global scale.

Responsibilities:

New Trading Initiatives

• Evaluate and explore new trading opportunities and strategies across various asset classes and emerging markets, utilizing AI-assisted research tools to analyze market size, requirements, pricing, and risk factors.
• Utilize AI tools to conduct in-depth competitor analysis, monitoring competitor strategies, new product launches, exchange activities, and market positioning.
• Oversee the introduction of new prediction market contracts, tokens, and coins from a Trading perspective, coordinating with product, risk, operations, and technology teams.
• Maintain a dynamic pipeline and prioritize a roadmap of new trading initiatives.

Project & Programme Management

• Manage end-to-end project execution for assigned trading initiatives, including maintaining project plans, timelines, action logs, and status updates.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams to ensure timely completion of milestones and escalate any blockers as needed.
• Prepare and distribute clear and concise project status updates.
• Manage project prioritization and planning for the broader initiatives pipeline while proactively addressing capacity constraints and dependencies.
• Ensure all project documentation is up to date, well-structured, and accessible to relevant team members.

Business Management

• Take charge of day-to-day business management across various trading desks, including preparing reporting packs, performance dashboards, and tracking KPIs.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, risk, and finance teams on new trading initiatives.
• Manage relationships with exchanges, brokers, data providers, and external partners, serving as a primary point of contact for daily inquiries and coordination.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in trading, strategy, project management, business management, or financial services.
• Working knowledge of TradFi markets, crypto markets, or prediction/event markets.
• Demonstrable project and program management skills with familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and SDLC, as well as experience using Jira.
• Experience or interest in using AI tools (e.g., LLMs, AI research assistants, automation platforms) in a professional or personal capacity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for producing clear briefings, status updates, and stakeholder presentations.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
