Lead Generation (APAC) VC, Angel & Crypto Investors
We are looking for an experienced freelancer to research and build a qualified investor pipeline for a cryptocurrency exchange platform seeking strategic investment and partnership opportunities in the APAC region.
The ideal candidate should have experience with lead generation in Web3, blockchain, crypto markets, venture capital research, startup fundraising, and investor outreach.
Responsibilities:
Research and identify crypto-focused venture capital firms, angel investors, family offices, blockchain funds, and strategic investors across APAC markets.
Focus on regions including: Singapore Hong Kong Japan South Korea Southeast Asia
Build a verified investor database containing: Investor/Fund name Website Investment thesis Crypto/Web3 portfolio companies
Preferred investment stage Geographic focus Partner/founder names LinkedIn profiles Email/contact details
Identify investors who have previously invested in: Cryptocurrency exchanges
Blockchain infrastructure Web3 platforms DeFi projects FinTech companies Digital asset businesses
Analyze investor fit based on: Assets under management (where available)
Previous crypto investments Check size Strategic value Market relevance
Proven experience in: Crypto/Web3 research VC and angel investor research Lead generation B2B prospecting Startup fundraising research
Familiarity with tools such as: Crunchbase, PitchBook (if available) LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Dealroom Tracxn Crypto fundraising databases
Strong understanding of: Blockchain ecosystem Cryptocurrency exchanges Venture capital landscape APAC technology markets
Deliverables: Initial database of 5000 qualified APAC crypto investors.
Investor segmentation by: VC funds Angel investors Family offices
Strategic partners Weekly progress report including: New investors identified
Research completed Outreach recommendations Preferred Candidate Profile: Previous experience working with crypto startups, Web3 companies, or VC firms.
Understanding of crypto exchange business models.
Experience finding investors for fundraising rounds.
Ability to conduct high-quality research instead of bulk/spam lead collection.
