Senior Android Reverse Engineer / Mobile Security Consultant

We are looking for a senior Android reverse engineer and mobile security researcher for an initial paid consultation, with the option to continue into hands-on technical research.

This is NOT a standard Android development role. We need a practitioner who can independently investigate complex Android application behavior, not just offer theoretical advice.

FOCUS AREAS

- Static and dynamic Android application analysis

- Runtime behavior, memory, ART, JNI and ARM64 native code

- APK/DEX analysis, obfuscation and anti-tampering

- Google Play Integrity API, device attestation and Android Keystore

- Device fingerprinting and Android system identifiers

- Cryptography and client-server security architecture

- Tools: Frida, Ghidra, JADX, IDA Pro, ADB

- Strong Android/Linux internals knowledge

INITIAL CONSULTATION

- Review our existing research notes and technical findings

- Assess hypotheses behind device integrity or verification failures

- Explain what can be established from client-side evidence and what requires server-side visibility

- Recommend an evidence-based investigation plan

- Deliver a concise written assessment with priorities and next steps

POSSIBLE FOLLOW-UP WORK

If the initial assessment identifies further work, the same consultant should be able to carry out authorized static/dynamic analysis, investigate runtime and native components, test hypotheses, and document reproducible findings. Scope, timing and payment for this phase will be agreed separately.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

We prefer engineers with demonstrable Android reverse engineering and mobile application security projects. Practical work matters more than certificates.

BUDGET

$500 covers the initial consultation, review and written assessment only. Further research or development is not included and will be paid separately. Initial delivery date will be agreed with the chosen consultant.
