About the Role

The Accountant Intern position at Figure presents an opportunity to join the finance team and contribute to routine accounting operations. The role involves supporting daily accounting functions, assisting in the annual financial statement audit, and gaining hands-on experience with practical financial data, translating classroom learning into real-world applications.

Responsibilities

  • Gain exposure to day-to-day accounting activities spanning accounts payable processing, journal entry recording, and financial statement preparation.
  • Engage with auditors to comprehend audit procedures, enhancing academic learning with practical tasks.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures for accounting processes to reinforce internal controls.
  • Participate in finance team meetings to learn about internal management budgeting and forecasting processes.

Job Summary

We are searching for a proficient and driven Senior Structured Derivatives professional to enrich our capital markets team.
