Description
Responsibilities
- Identify, establish, and expand strategic collaborations with payment service providers, acquirers, and high-volume merchants in key sectors to boost regional merchant growth and transaction volume rapidly.
- Lead the complete enterprise sales process from prospecting and outreach to pitching, negotiating contracts, coordinating KYB processes, and ensuring seamless integration for efficient go-live timelines.
- Cultivate strong rapport with senior executives at PSPs, acquirers, and large merchants, utilizing regulatory understanding and industry credibility to forge partnerships in traditional payment infrastructure.
- Develop and execute regional growth strategies concentrating on impactful industries like gaming, iGaming, trading platforms, e-commerce, OTA, and digital services, while identifying opportunities in untapped sectors.
- Work closely with Product, Integration, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing teams to tailor solutions, streamline onboarding procedures, and devise collaborative initiatives to boost merchant adoption and GMV growth.
- Analyze merchant and partnership data to segment accounts, enhance commercial terms, increase profitability, and leverage long-term ecosystem advantages.
- Stay abreast of competitive landscape, regulatory changes, and market trends to fine-tune regional strategies and guide global expansion of payment distribution.
- Track and achieve challenging KPIs such as merchant base expansion, acquirer onboarding objectives, and measurable transaction volume increase.
Requirements
- 6~10 years of experience in payments, fintech, acquiring, or major digital wallet platforms, with solid expertise in card networks, settlement processes, risk management, and payment systems.
- Demonstrated experience in enterprise-level business development, adept at engaging with C-suite executives, and skilled in managing intricate multi-party partnerships.
- Well-established professional network within PSPs, acquirers, payment processors, or financial institutions in the target area.
- Proficiency in operating within regulated environments, navigating compliance, and considering reputation in partnership structuring.
- Business-minded, resilient, and results-focused individual experienced in building momentum in high-growth, expansion-oriented settings rather than relying solely on existing structures.
- Strong analytical abilities with a knack for interpreting merchant performance data and utilizing insights to formulate scalable partnership strategies.
- Fluency in English and relevant regional languages essential for liaising with international partners and stakeholders, with additional languages considered advantageous.
