Application Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Improve and uphold security protocols for Binance's affiliated entities specializing in DeFi and Web3 technologies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for addressing security issues discovered through penetration testing, bug bounty programs, and assessments.
• Assess findings from penetration tests and implement solutions at the code level to rectify vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate on designing engineering architecture, recommending enhancements to system security.
• Integrate security solutions from third-party blockchain vendors to bolster overall protection.
• Assess and integrate AI tools for detecting security issues across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), automating these processes within CI pipelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of full-time iOS development experience or proficiency in developing mobile apps using Kotlin, Java with Android SDK.
• Proficient in at least two programming languages such as Java, Swift, Kotlin, Go, Python, or Rust.
• Experience developing client-server applications with secure communication protocols.
• Knowledge of mobile security practices, common vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
• Enthusiasm for cryptocurrency, DeFi, smart contracts, and blockchain security.
• Strong team player with a proactive learning mindset.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and adept at independent work.

Nice to Have:

• Background with bug bounty programs.
• Understanding of blockchain technology, DeFi design patterns, wallet security, and common Web3 security vulnerabilities.
• Hands-on experience with smart contract auditing and development using Solidity or Rust.
• Active involvement in GitHub projects or contributions to popular libraries.
