Description
The Exchange Support team is seeking strong individuals to join their team responsible for overseeing the global system for the cryptocurrency trading business, which runs 24x7. This team offers L2/L3 support to Business users and is accountable for the production environment across various key business lines such as the Exchange platform, Risk management system, Backoffice, Market data, and non-trading activities.
Responsibilities
- Providing technical support to Sales, Business Users, Institutional, and Retail customer base, focusing on application support, API support, and network connectivity.
- Identifying and resolving production incidents, owning end-to-end responsibility for Production issues, collaborating with technical and business support teams, and ensuring timely incident escalation and resolution.
- Taking charge of all release activities, participating in audit reviews, executing BCP exercises, maintaining adherence to ITIL best practices, SLA standards, and meeting Client expectations.
- Monitoring and automating application and infrastructure alerts to ensure prompt actions for system stability and uptime, as well as maintaining a knowledge repository and SOP documentation.
- Identifying areas for improvement, implementing process optimizations, automating manual tasks, and enhancing the service level offered to end-users.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of production support experience, preferably in the Banking or Financial Service industry.
- Proficiency in UNIX commands for debugging, SQL queries, and scripting languages like Bash/Python. Previous experience with supporting FIX protocol and APIs is essential.
- Strong technical understanding of Linux/Java-based systems, familiarity with Cloud Technology, and experience with DevOps tools.
- Good knowledge of monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Control-M, ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, or similar applications.
- Service-oriented mindset with excellent Incident handling and troubleshooting skills. ITIL certification is desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, adept at communicating with various stakeholders and interfacing teams effectively.
- Prior experience in supporting Trading Systems (OMS/EMS) with exposure to Equities, Derivatives, FX, or Cryptocurrency Trading.
- Capable of working under pressure, managing multiple tasks, results-driven with keen attention to detail to meet demanding deadlines.
- Proactive, quick learner, adaptable to new concepts, business areas, and technologies.
- Willingness to work in shifts and provide weekend support.
