Job Summary:
Bitcoin Depot is seeking an individual to join their team as an Assistant Controller. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role will oversee the general ledger and monthly accounting close process for Bitcoin Depot. As a key leader within the accounting team, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving company growth and process enhancements, contributing both operationally and strategically.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the team responsible for monthly accounting and reporting
- Analyze financial and operational data on a regular basis
- Drive improvements in accounting and closing procedures
- Support CFO on M&A activities when necessary
- Meet strict public company deadlines and manage fluctuating workloads
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiencies and models
- Provide guidance to direct reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years experience as an assistant controller in a public company, with a total of 7+ years of relevant experience
- Previous management experience
- Proven ability to instigate process improvements
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in data analysis
- Basic understanding of cryptocurrency
