Job Summary:

Bitcoin Depot is seeking an individual to join their team as an Assistant Controller. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role will oversee the general ledger and monthly accounting close process for Bitcoin Depot. As a key leader within the accounting team, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving company growth and process enhancements, contributing both operationally and strategically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team responsible for monthly accounting and reporting
  • Analyze financial and operational data on a regular basis
  • Drive improvements in accounting and closing procedures
  • Support CFO on M&A activities when necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years experience as an assistant controller in a public company, with a total of 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Previous management experience

  • Basic understanding of cryptocurrency

Requirements

Proficient in Excel, including Pivot Tables, Index/Match, and financial modeling. Display a strong ability to think systematically and design workflows to prevent recurring discrepancies.

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Demonstrate the capacity to address payment discrepancies and the expertise to create efficient cross-border operational processes.

Fluent in English and Mandarin; fluency in Cantonese is advantageous.
