Description
The Finance & Accounting team encompasses various functions such as Financial Control, Business Performance Management, Procurement, Digital Transformation, Tax, Treasury, and Operations. Collaboratively, the team focuses on optimizing global finance initiatives with meticulous attention to detail, multitasking across diverse and stimulating project scopes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with diverse teams (Finance, Data, Tech, etc.) to implement data-centric, automated solutions that enhance financial reporting workflows efficiency.
- Support the Senior Director in driving automation projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
- Evaluate current financial procedures to pinpoint challenges, inefficiencies, and enhancement opportunities.
- Organize regular progress updates and devise, execute, and validate User Acceptance Testing plans to independently address any issues.
- Continuously monitor post-implementation automated processes to ensure optimal functionality.
- Enhance financial data stability by introducing controls to prevent recurring issues and minimize manual interventions or discrepancies.
- Provide support for other ad-hoc reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in data analytics and financial process automation.
- Strong comprehension of accounting and finance principles with the ability to collaborate closely with finance managers.
- Demonstrated success in driving data and automation initiatives all the way from design and testing to deployment.
- Proficient in generating complex SQL queries and business data logic.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS), finance databases (NetSuite), and BI tools (Tableau).
- Superior communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to oversee projects autonomously as well as part of a team.
