Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the preparation of precise and timely financial statements following IFRS standards (for standalone company).
- Supervise and validate general ledger entries to ensure accuracy and appropriate categorization.
- Perform and review reconciliations for balance sheet accounts such as intercompany balances, accruals, prepayments, other receivables, and payables.
- Carry out detailed financial analysis, encompassing variance, trend, and profitability analyses, and furnish insights to management.
- Execute special projects and ad hoc analyses as requested by senior management or in response to business requirements.
Requirements
- Ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Possession of a professional accounting qualification is highly desired.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in financial or accounting roles; background in audit field considered advantageous.
- Proficient in IFRS and financial reporting principles.
- Preferred experience with Netsuite accounting systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling.
