Responsibilities:

  • Support the timely preparation of accurate consolidated financial statements adhering to IFRS guidelines.
  • Supervise and review consolidation entries with a focus on accuracy and proper intercompany transaction eliminations.
  • Conduct and review balance sheet reconciliations related to consolidation aspects (e.g., intercompany balances, subsidiary investments, etc.).
  • Generate group-level reports and analyses encompassing variance evaluation, trend identification, key performance indicators (KPIs), and deliver actionable insights to management.
  • Aid in preparing audit schedules and supplementary documentation required for group-wide audits.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams in subsidiary entities to ensure punctual and accurate financial data reporting.
  • Undertake special projects and conduct ad hoc analyses as necessitated by senior management or evolving business requirements.

Requirements:

  • Preferably possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline.
  • Preferably hold a professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with previous exposure in group reporting or consolidation roles preferred. Audit experience is beneficial.
  • Sound grasp of IFRS and consolidated financial reporting principles.
  • Proficiency in working with accounting systems, especially experience with NetSuite is advantageous.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel applications like pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical acumen and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and adept at interpersonal interactions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within teams.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized.
