Assistant Manager, Group Reporting

Responsibilities:
- Support the timely preparation of accurate consolidated financial statements adhering to IFRS guidelines.
- Supervise and review consolidation entries with a focus on accuracy and proper intercompany transaction eliminations.
- Conduct and review balance sheet reconciliations related to consolidation aspects (e.g., intercompany balances, subsidiary investments, etc.).
- Generate group-level reports and analyses encompassing variance evaluation, trend identification, key performance indicators (KPIs), and deliver actionable insights to management.
- Aid in preparing audit schedules and supplementary documentation required for group-wide audits.
- Collaborate with accounting teams in subsidiary entities to ensure punctual and accurate financial data reporting.
- Undertake special projects and conduct ad hoc analyses as necessitated by senior management or evolving business requirements.
Requirements:
- Preferably possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline.
- Preferably hold a professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with previous exposure in group reporting or consolidation roles preferred. Audit experience is beneficial.
- Sound grasp of IFRS and consolidated financial reporting principles.
- Proficiency in working with accounting systems, especially experience with NetSuite is advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel applications like pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical acumen and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and adept at interpersonal interactions.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within teams.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized.
