Associate, Digital Asset Operations
This position involves actively participating in operations at the crossroads of traditional financial sectors and digital assets. The role entails managing end-to-end workflows for asset integrations, overseeing critical platform events, and acting as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities
Asset Management:
- Responsible for overseeing operational workflows for new digital asset integrations and offerings, from initial evaluation to ongoing maintenance post-launch.
Event Operations:
- Lead and execute platform updates for important asset events such as token migrations, protocol upgrades, and asset deprecation, emphasizing precision and timeliness.
External Partner Liaison:
- Serve as the primary operational contact for external project teams, foundations, and key stakeholders, representing the company with reliability, responsiveness, and sharpness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with various departments like Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and Customer Support to align on requirements, regulatory guidelines, and project timelines.
Ecosystem Development:
- Coordinate internally to support joint promotional campaigns, user engagement activities, and ecosystem growth initiatives with external partners.
Process Improvement:
- Maintain clear documentation, operational trackers, and SOPs. Continuously identify and implement optimizations to streamline operations effectively.
Requirements
Educational Background:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Strong foundational knowledge of financial markets, settlement processes, and risk management is mandatory.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year in the traditional financial sector, such as investment banking, asset management, or corporate finance. An interest in transitioning to Web3 and digital assets is crucial.
Skillset:
- Demonstrate a proactive approach, high responsiveness, accountability, and the ability to drive projects independently.
Ethics:
- Exercise professional integrity when handling confidential and market-sensitive information.
Attention to Detail:
- Strong eye for details with flawless execution in time-critical workflows.
Project Management:
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently under tight deadlines.
Communication:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is advantageous.
