Key Responsibilities
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact on the business operations.
- Interpret and provide advice on regulatory duties and compliance requirements related to existing and potential business activities.
- Manage regulatory reporting and consolidate responses for MAS inquiries.
- Ensure compliance of marketing materials with advertising regulations.
- Develop, review, and enforce compliance policies and procedures.
- Support in internal and external audits.
- Serve as a secondary assurance ensuring controls are in place and addressing any identified deficiencies.
- Analyze listing applications for completeness and adherence to ADDX listing rules.
- Investigate and address non-compliance with listing regulations, report to senior management, and assist in disciplinary actions for rule violations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field like Banking, Finance, or Business.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or control functions within financial institutions.
- Proficiency in Singapore Securities and Futures Act and Financial Advisory Act.
- Familiarity with financial product terminology.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Effective prioritization and time management skills.
- Independent, yet collaborative working style with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical abilities and sound judgment in decision-making.
- Positive, hands-on attitude towards work and a team player mindset.
